How to Join
The Sligo Mountaineering Club was formed in 1974 for the purpose of pursuing the activity if hill walking as a group on our local hills and farther afield. Since then the club has walked extensively at home and abroad.
New members are welcome to join throughout the year on the 1st Sunday of every month from November through to 1st Sunday of October the following calendar year. Irrespective of when you join you must re-new your membership on the 1st Sunday of November or at the AGM.
Current 2009 / 2010 annual membership fees are:
- Adult: €40
- Juniors (under 18 ): €19.50
